M31 Brotbeutel (Breadbag)

Renders of a German WW2 Model 31 Brotbeutel. Majority of the modeling was done in Maya with some sculpting in Zbrush. Unwrapped in UV Layout, textured in Substance Painter and final renderings done in Maya using Vray.

The Brotbeutel was used to carry food and personal effects and was in use up until the end of the war. The colors varied based on the manufacturer and branch of service. A variant of the Brotbeutel was used post war by both the West German Bundeswehr and East German National Volksarmee.
